NOW TV is a subscription-based streaming service that offers access to a wide range of movies, TV shows, and sports events. It is operated by Sky, a leading entertainment and telecommunications company based in the United Kingdom. NOW TV offers a variety of passes, including entertainment, cinema, sports, and kids, which users can purchase and stream on demand.

At NOW TV, I had the opportunity to use my skills as a UI/UX designer to enhance the company's ecommerce site. My work focused on optimising user journeys and improving conversion rates. By collaborating closely with the optimisation team and conducting user testing, I was able to refine design options that resulted in a more seamless user experience. Additionally, I played a key role in creating visually appealing promotional campaigns that aligned with the company's digital brand presence. In order to keep the site fresh and up to date, I was responsible for updating and maintaining all visual assets and imagery.

Dynamic Content Pages

The Challenge

NOW TV’s content landing pages were facing a high bounce rate, which could be attributed to a lack of engaging imagery, insufficient information about NOW TV’s passes, and a lack of call-to-action to prompt user engagement and conversion.

The Solution

As a UI/UX designer, I recognized the need to redesign the templates for TV and movies. I incorporated key information about NOW TV’s passes above the fold, along with a clear call-to-action to start a free trial. I streamlined the season/episode module, allowing users to explore seasons and episodes dynamically. Finally, I added a slider module featuring other content available with each pass, which helped to upsell the service. The new design helped to increase user engagement, reduce bounce rates, and improve conversion rates.

2 for 1 Offers Campaign

I designed a series of eye-catching page takeovers to promote the 2 for 1 offers on NOW TV passes. These takeovers were strategically placed on the homepage, content pages, passes and offers pages to grab users’ attention and drive conversions. I created custom assets and iconography to complement the new page layouts, ensuring a consistent and visually engaging experience for users. The result was a successful upselling campaign that saw increased engagement and sales for the service.

Sky Sports Landing Page

I designed a new landing page for Sky Sports that would encourage users to watch Sky Sports with a NOW TV pass. The redesigned page featured an updated passes module highlighting the best value pass, along with a schedule of upcoming matches, to provide users with all the information they needed to make a purchase. The goal was to create a visually appealing and informative page that would drive conversion and increase sales.

Sky Spain Homepage

When Sky Spain launched their new streaming service, they needed an effective way to introduce new users to the platform. I was tasked with designing a clean and minimal one-page website that would showcase the key features of the service. The design was focused on simplicity, with a clear and concise icon navigation that made it easy for users to quickly find the information they needed. By reducing the number of clicks required to convert, the design streamlined the user journey and helped to improve conversion rates.
