Goodfor is a sustainable wholefoods refillery that offers a range of organic, natural, and eco-friendly products such as food, household and personal care items in bulk.
As Goodfor looked to expand their business, they recognised the need for an online store that could provide an easy and convenient way for customers to access their products. That's where I came in as a UI/UX designer, tasked with creating a responsive and intuitive ecommerce site that would meet the needs of both Goodfor and its customers. My goal was to design a site that was clean, minimal, and easy to navigate, with a focus on promoting quick and seamless conversions.
To achieve the best results for Goodfor, I employed a user-centric design approach, starting with extensive research to understand the needs and preferences of Goodfor’s target audience. Based on this information I created multiple iterations of wireframes and high fidelity mockups during the design process. This allowed me to present various design options to the client and get feedback on which designs worked best for them.
Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the development team to ensure that the final product was both visually appealing and accurately styled. This involved conducting regular design reviews and providing detailed feedback on the development process, as well as making adjustments to the design as needed to ensure a seamless and consistent user experience across all devices.
Overall, my design process for the Goodfor ecommerce site was focused on creating a user-friendly, visually appealing, and sustainable site that met the needs of both the client and their customers. Through careful research, extensive collaboration, and attention to detail, I was able to achieve a result that helped Goodfor expand their business and promote their values to a wider audience.
